I hope that you have taken some time to reflect on yesterdays steps #1-4. Now, let's pick up where we left off yesterday with Step #5 the Womens Field Guide to Exceptional Living by Corrie Woods
Step #5 Design a Plan of innovative action...
Clearly define empowering steps to create movement forward and set up a system of accountability to sustain your movement forward.
Step#6 Take Action and lots of it...
Shift out of your head and into action, one step at a time.
Step #7 Celebrate and Evaluate...
Savor the causes for celebration, both the big ones and the small ones. Evaluate and re-adjust
as your vision and action plan call for it.
This is not a two- day- fix, think of it more as navagational tool. Don't hurry through the steps, take the time to reflect and write and then do it all over again. Remember one step at a time- this is not a race! If you want to make lasting changes, if you have to take the time, to make the changes.
I started journaling when I began these steps. First I prayed! Then I wrote down my prayers for that day, questions I had, scripture I read, things that happened etc. What I found was that when I went back and read it a week later; I could see God leading me! It was like He was answering my prayers and my questions either through scripture, sermon videos, books I just happened to drawn too, things people unknowingly said, etc... It really truly was amazing! I dedicated one year to journaling almost everyday.
I love going back now and reading where I was mentally and physically at that time. What was on my heart and mind and especially how God chose to speak to me that day. What I thought were short little nuggets of thoughts, quotes, ect... turned out to be a conversation! I could not have put all those pieces, from so many places, in order like that, if I wanted to. It truly was divine intervention. Now I have a very physical way to look back on how God intervened in my life at that time. Give it a try!! I cant wait to hear what you learned!
