#10 thru 12 of the 13 Attributes of God
– Forgiver of iniquity (nosei avon)–God forgives intentional sin resulting from an evil disposition, as long as the sinner repents.
– Forgiver of willful sin (pesha)–God allows even those who commit a sin with the malicious intent of rebelling against and angering Him the opportunity to repent.
– Forgiver of error (v’hata’ah)–God forgives a sin committed out of carelessness, thoughtlessness, or apathy.
Did you know that each time you sin, you go against Gods word, you are storing up debt in heaven?
There will come a time when this debt will need to be paid; upon your last breath or when He returns.
How will you pay it?
You will repay it with your life in two ways.
1) you have accepted Jesus as your Savior; at that point your debt was paid for you, by his death on the cross.
OR
2) you have rejected Jesus' free gift and you will pay by spending an eternity in hell.
God has given you two choices and the free will, to decide for yourself, which one will YOU choose! you have all the dyas of your life to make that decision but remember you are only ONE HEART BEAT between eternal life or death.
You may think this sounds harsh, I but think it is an AMAZING Free GIFT! To be given the opportunity to have all forgiven, to live an eternity, an eternity in heaven, where everything is perfect, there is no sickness, no hurting, just joy!
Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.
Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.
Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!
