We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Rock Springs, Wyoming!
The first thing we did was set up camp at the Rock Springs KOA Journey.
Then Jumped in the truck and went 4x4-ing on the Wild Horse Loop.
We saw about eight Wild Horses out in the fields ( not as many as I had hoped though) I had horse growing up so it was hard not to go running into the fields.
Then we headed up to the Butte, beautiful and steep! Right around there is where we saw a lot of antelope.
We heades toward the Historic Downtown where we came across the "holding area" for many wild horses. They have an area you can sit, watch them and read all about them and what they do with them.
They have a Cowboy Doughnut Shop, on the way out of town, that we were so bummed we missed due to looking at the beautiful scenery and forgot to stop-ugh! So, I guess we will have to go back!
